England, Poole, teens language holiday Splash & Talk, ages 14 -17

You not only want to improve your English but also love water sports? This combined language holiday is the perfect solution to learn English but also try a variety of water sports!
Together with Bournemouth and Christchurch, Poole forms the South East Dorset Conurbation. Poole’s natural harbour is one of the largest and most spectacular worldwide. Exploring the harbour, doing water sports or just exploring the town centre and going on a shopping spree in the Dolphin Centre make Poole a great location for a language holiday.

When going on a “Splash & Talk” language holiday, you can try many different water sports. The English lessons ensure you improve your language skills, so it’s the perfect combination. All students stay with host families with whom they have their breakfast and dinner. In order to be flexible during the day, you will be provided with a packed lunch. After the splash and language lessons, our teamers offer a great activity programme including activities such as beach games, bowling or exploring the town. On this occasion you see the sights Poole has to offer, e.g. the large natural harbour.

Poole is one of the most attractive water sports locations in England. The shallow harbour away from the shipping channel is perfect for any type of water sport. Regardless of your proficiency – pro or beginner – everyone can enjoy the water here; the wind and kite surfing world championships prove this which take place in Poole. Our students have the opportunity to try surfing or sailing. A fun and royal alternative – it was even enjoyed by the Hawaiian kings – is stand-up paddling. Kayaking is also part of the programme. All equipment, e.g. wetsuit and life vest are provided. This holiday will be an exciting and adventurous mixture of language holiday and adventure sports.
